2012 North American Indigenous Sport Championships
EXTENDED HOST APPLICATION PROCESS – February 25 – March 25, 2011
In response to the cancellation of the 2011 NAIG and out of a deep commitment by the North American Indigenous Games Council (NAIG Council) to support competitive opportunities for Indigenous youth across Canada and the USA, members of the NAIG Council approved a motion to develop and stage North American Indigenous Sport Championships in the summer of 2012 (competition based on the approved 2011 NAIG Sport Technical Package) and sites to be selected through a competitive bid process.
This document provides interested First Nation, Métis, Inuit and Native American communities and/or organizations the requirements for submitting an application to host a North American Indigenous Sport Championship.

Interested communities are not limited to applying to host one championship, but are welcome to apply to host multiple sports. Please find the Host Application form attached to this email.
The NAISC Committee will accept host applications until Friday, March 25, 2011.
