Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra Registration Now Open

Registration for the 2012 Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra on Saturday, October 20 is now open.

After the success of the inaugural event, a cap of 250 teams and 80 solo ultras has been set for this year. The early entry deadline of $640 for a team of 8, or $85 for an ultra, is August 26. But teams can register for the relay and add details of the team composition later. Fees include all taxes and service charges.

The 8-person, 50 mile relay race or solo ultra-marathon is centred around Whistler Village and the picturesque Valley Trail system. Relay legs alternate between 12k & 8k.

Enjoy the pre-race social on Friday night. And the Saturday night post-race dance will be at the Whistler Conference Centre. Make it a weekend.

A selection of hotels are available for booking, with rooms starting from $99/night. All hotels are within steps of the start/finish and post-race activities.

The 8-person, 50 mile relay race or solo ultra-marathon, replaces the former Haney-to-Harrison 100K Relay and Ultra on the running calendar, and takes place on Saturday, November 5, 2011.

Come join us in Whistler for what promises to be a fun event, held on a beautiful, traffic free course, to be followed by a post-race dance.

Accommodations are available, starting at $99/night for a one bedroom, with 2 bedroom suites from $159/night.

Entry is limited to 250 teams, plus 50 ultra runners. Team members need not all be identified when entering – you can return later to complete the details.
